Good ol' Days

This summer was so fun making techno and relaxing. These past few days mixing and making some techno songs have reminded me of that. I spent about an hour or two playing some expensive synthisizers at the Guitar center. It was fun. Anyways, I met with Tom to discuss our research, which we basically got it planned out. Finally got my dad's camera back so I can take random photos. I have to get reading!

School Projects

I think all I ever really talk about is school. It is really sad. Anyhow, I haven't really said much about what's been going on in my life except busy busy busy. I have started the research stuff and meeting my mentors (my dad and another from North Carolina) which will hopefully be interesting and not extremely difficult. Physics is always interesting when we learn Mr. Sinclairs random, but always fun and interesting facts. Recieve 25/25 on my last lab report and have another to turn in soon. Not looking forward to getting this last test back because I studied really hard but I guess not the right things. This extremely frustrated me, but next time will be better (hoping at least). Although on my math quiz I got 100% which I was extremely suprised becuase I was doubtful on a bunch of the answers, but never the less pleased because that bumped me up to an A in calc. Computer science is a unique class to say the least, but it is always fun. On to some Northern stuff...I totally bombed the quiz in English we took because I could not organize my stupid thoughts when writing the essay quiz. Economics is just lame because we sit there discussing things like whether or not we should raise minimum wage (which gets boring really quickly). Although we are making brochures and I used some of the pictures I randomly take to put on the cover and such because I'm doing mine on education. (what a coincedence!) I'm still working on the college paper though. I really do need to get doing homework. (sorry for every single thing on this post being about school).

Limits

Definition of Limit: (1) a calculas term to find a slope of a given point. (2) a word to describe the boundries or restrictions.

I'm doing both of those, in calculas we're (don't know how the class can go any slower) doing limits and derivitives. In life overall, I'm finding the limits. Especially the limit that says you can't have everyone like you. Can't get all you homework done perfectly. Basically left trying to keep up with life because it will leave you behind. I studied for the physics test, but I guess I just didn't understand enough to do well on it. That has greatly frustrated me and will continue until I get an A, uncurved, no bonus, just a straight, hard earned A. But in reality I will never be able to do it myself...

KAMSC period

KAMSC OnLine : Welcome to KAMSC OnLine

I don't know what I would do without kamsc. It keeps me so busy but if I just went to northern I would be so uninterested in school. There is a ton of opportunities that I would like to do but I just don't have that kind of time. Tom and I met one of our mentors for research at the airport (bad place to try and talk with all the loud annoucements). I had left right after school to go there and afterwards took Tom home, then went to church to do nothing and then to open lab. Kamsc Student Senate pushed back the date for voting on tshirts again. I really got to study and do homework now. I think that's all I do at home (well and listen to techno that is).

Overall Busimess

Well well, what do we have...homework, work, then more homework, school, (oh wait a little bit of sleep), then the cycle repeats it's self of course. Took the PSAT Saturday, which was soo dumb, their "harder" math section was ridiculously easy, and I'll be very upset if I don't ace it. However the reading and writing was so crazy and made no sense, that I think I failed miserably on that part. Anna Karenina, is an interesting book if you count out all the boring pages (okay so a lot of it is kinda boring). AK is over half-way done luckily. Don't think I could live without techno. I do have to say God has been so good to me lately that things have been going well despite the busy and messy schedule...times ticking away.

Evening Dawn

I don't think I'm feeling or thinking anything. The only way I'm able to stay up to read ten's of pages and write a paper is to drink pop and listen to techno which I think combining the two is like some kind of drug. If only I can harness that energy to do homework and sleep at the same time.

Time Splice

With school starting I've had little time to do much of anything other than study and do homework. I usually get to bed around 1am and wake up promptly at 6am. Working 12 hours or so a week makes time very precious. Study groups have been a great deal of fun (and helpful) and driving Patel and Hyden to kamsc is always funny and interesting. Taking random pictures is always an amusing thing to do so I've been continuing doing that, (guess you can't wait for the October pictures!). I am such a nerd due to the fact that all I do is study, even when I went to the Northern versus Central game (huskies winning ya!) I carried along my rubik's cube and did it to help raise money for breast cancer research. I could go on but guess what? in english we are averaging a good 100 pages a week. Y en español IV, nosotros tenemos que hablar y charlar en español fluente. Es muy difícil y la semana ayer, nosotros tuve que escribir un composición de 300 palabras. Anyways that's more than enough to feast your eyes!
