I have been having numerous difficulties with the wireless network connection at work recently. I finally came across a convenient command line utility that displays detailed information on the wireless networks available to the wireless network card.
> netsh wlan show all
The culprit is either another wireless channel one channel off (~2kHz difference) or the router is giving out bad lease expiration times.
